Well to start out I'm new to the forums here. I havfe a 94 super cab 4x4 that has a 5sp manual trans with the electric shift transfer case and manual lockout hubs. Went to use 4lo the other day and it didn't seem to want to shift into lo gear. Went into 4hi ok. Now I seem to be stuck in low gear no matter if it's in 2hi or 4hi. I took the electric motor off the transfer case and tried shifting into 4 hi and 2 hi manually but I still seem to be stuck in low gear. Any suggestions? Is it time to find a good used transfer case to swap in?

 

yeah got to looking at the transfer case a little more and as it turns out the bottom of the case has a crack in it and is deformed. I'm thinking the insides are rioting for democracy and wanting to experience the outside world and it is now time for a new transfer case.
