7.5 w/ 4.56 and L/S

I just got my LS in the mail today, wont install it for awhile.
I am currently running 3.73 in my 7.5
was wondering if i could squeeze in 4.56s in my 7.5 w/ an LS
or should i just go w/ 4.10s???

4.56s is i think the biggest you can go "comfortably" in a 7.5. you can run 5.13s but theres little room for fluid.

with the 3.0 for 32 or 33s the 4.56s would feel real nice...

4.10's work pretty good with my 33's, got good gas mileage and decent acceleration, well as good as its going to get with the o so powerful 3.0...

what kind of l/s did you get, how much and where did you get it from, if ya dont mind me asking

well generally your not going to be rock crawling a 2wd, i mean go for it if thats your thing but your prob not going to get to far, hes running an a/t so it see's pavment at one point or another and isnt a trail ****, sooooo 4.10 gearing IMO would work well for someone like him, 4.56's wouldnt be a horrible choice either but like its been said, in a 7.5 rear, there isnt to much room......

Or he could swap to an 8.8...then get 4.56's.

Every day I drive my truck, I think 4.56's are more suited for the 3.0 and 33's.

I would say do it the right way, but thats just me!

i would rather do 4.56s than 4.10s, but i just dont know if all that could fit in my lil 7.5, and since i already have the LS unit i dont feel like goin up to an 8.8
i do some offroad, no rock crawling though.

so is there anybody who knows if 4.56s and an LS will fit in my 7.5?

it should, the l/s shoudlnt be to much if any bigger than your factory open. i know 5.13s are not the best idea on a 7.5, but i think youll be ok with 4.56.

4.56s fit fine, even 5.13s fit in the 7.5, definitly go for the 4.56s for anything over a 31" tire, if i hadnt gotten my axle with 4.10s in it already I may have gone with 4.56s. when i go up to 33s im actually gonna use 4.88s. I know i have a 2.3 but the 3.0 runs almost the same as the 2.3 in likeing to be revved and getting better mileage at a higher cruising RPM.
