Hello,
Can anyone here tell me what transmission I can swap with my truck.
I have a 91 Ranger 3.0 with a4ld. What years will fit right in this truck and what vehicles ie. Ford Aerostar, taurus etc. I'm not for certain but isn't it 1988-91?

WOW! The word I'm getting is that it won't interchange with any other ford Vehicle and it went in 91-92 only........this isn't good.

 

its certainly not going to interchange with a Taurus transmission. its a front wheel drive vehicle. your ranger is rear. the A4LD went in rangers from 1986 to 1994. the bellhousings on the engines may have changed tho...
