Could anybody confirm that a set of 96 Cobra wheels will or will not fit on my 2001 XL 2WD StepSide Ranger? I have a friend that is giving me a set for free, I just want to confirm they will work before I get them.

Should be OK, you will most likely need spacers on the front and ET lugs for all 4 wheels

They will fit but you might have to get spacers as some one else said. I have 02 mustang rims on my 94 ranger. I dont have spacers but i am thinking about it as i think they would look better moved out some
