When you change carrier to any kind of posi from an open differential does the abs ring bolt on the new differential,thanks

 

It is called the Tone Ring and it is a separate part so I believe it could be added to any differential of the same size.
You heat up the ring so it expands, then slide it/tap it in to place, it is just held in place by friction

I thought 2002 would be 4 wheel ABS, in any case the VSS that reads the tone ring is needed by computer
