Another 5.0 question

So, I'm thinking of swapping a 302 into my ranger but I also want to make a decent amount of power as well. I was hoping to stroke the engine but I don't know if the conversion kit will allow for that with the oil pan. I also would like to update the suspension if possible does anyone make a weld in frame or anything? I'm willing to use something cut out of a car if it'll work. My goal is a ~400 hp n/a ranger.

Welcome to the forum

Loads of upgrades for the Ford 302(5.0l) engines, 400hp shouldn't be an issue

Read here for ideas: https://therangerstation.com/tech_li...versions.shtml

The V8 conversions

Rear frame will need some braces for the torque, maybe an Explorer 8.8" rear axle with 31-spline, the Ranger 8.8" used smaller axle shaft, but would handle the power if tires were kept under 32", tire size is more the issue than power, as far as axles are concerned

Suspension is different for 2WD and 4x4 also by Year of Ranger
