AUTO 3.0,7.5,4.10an 33's.

who all is running 4.10's with a 7.5axle with a 3.0l auto an how is the tranny holding out because this is a nose bleeder for me i keep hearing 4.56 vs 4.10s for the 3.0 with 33's SOMEONE SHOOT ME...

4.10s should be perfect, 4.56 would kill on gas

My 32s with 4.10s on a auto tranny get great mileage. 33s would only be a little bit less. I'm getting around 20 with my 32s.

lol this is second time ive gone an asked this because everytime i ge to were im bout to put my lift an tires on i say ooo god i forgot the gears! lol so this weekend im putting a 5in doetsch lift its weird its 3in coils with 2in coil spacers an new upper control arms/bump stops ect an 3in shackles for rear... but i got 33x12.50r15 super swamper at's so 4.10's will be fine?

well 4.10s youll have better gas milage but a little less power
and 4.56s youll have worse gas mileage but more power

PERSONALY I COULD CARE LESS OF EITHER... lol all i want is safest for my tranny cuz i dont feel like setting another into a raging grinding demon from hell...

hmmm so 4.56 is the safest to go for my tranny...

isn't there a gearing in between 4.10s and 4.56s for 2wds? i thought there was a 4.30 or something close to that.

Yep theres 4.30s. I don't know if the make them for both the 7.5 and the 8.8 though.

i have 32s and 3.73s and my tranny had to be rebuilt at about 50k miles with the tires

4.56s 33"s here. 4.0L auto. getting 17-18mpg.. and i do NOT baby it at all.
when off road it will drop alot since im doggin on it even more.

id go 4.56s so you have the power, and its less strain on the transmission

give me a price and i might be headin that way... question is it a ranger 8.8? what spline an does it have a locker an ect?
