axle exchange- b2 to ranger

i found a b2 axle at a junk yard for $85. It has a locker and 4.10 gears so i'm really intrested but theres one problem, i have a ranger. Will it fit my truck with out any welding or anything. The bronco2 is is a 87 and the axle code was D7. Its also 4x4. i have a 2wd 94 ranger. thanks

it should fit fine but all B2's have 7.5 axles so that isnt much of an upgrade

its a locker and 4.10's for $85, thats a helluva upgrade!
even if the axle wouldnt fit, you can swap the guts if they are both 7.5's

get it.

i got it home and did some measuring it looks like its not going to fit. The shock mounts and spring mounts are goign to be too wide. How much would it cost to get the guts switched out from the bronco to my ranger's rearend?

-Thanks

sry this is late, but according to JamesDuff's website

Rear: For Rangers, the 8.8" rear axle from '89-97 Rangers is a bolt-in, with some driveshaft changes. For Bronco II's, the same axle can be used, but the spring perches have to be relocated.
