bolt removal

Hey everyone, I'm in the process of swapping my 94 2.3 from a auto to manual, does anybody know what wrench or best way to get to the two bolts on each side in the middle of the bell housing . I'm a fairly patient person but these suckers are getting down right aggravating, any help or ideas would be nice, thanks

Haven't pulled a trans on a 2.3l Lima but for most transmissions bolts you need a long extension(or two), a wobble or universal, and short socket for bolt size

Google: images extension wobble and universal

Wobbles are easier to work with if you can get a good angle
Universals allow more of an angle but tend to fall off the bolt head unless you maintain pressure, lol
You can put a dollop of grease in the universal so it stays at desired angle when sliding it on to the bolt head

You can get sockets with universal attached so very short to get into tight places, example seen here: https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon....r5YFL._AC_.jpg

You can also get closed and open end ratchet wrenches for the supper tight locations, seen here: https://i.ytimg.com/vi/QWBlQdporxE/maxresdefault.jpg

Thanks Ron, two of the bolts were in brackets that went up on the side of the block, have no idea what they do, but I ended up finding a starter wrench that fit for the drivers side and the passenger side wasn't bad after taking the starter off. After taking those off I found that taking the brackets off I was able to reach the other ones. If I do this again I will pull the motor and trans together and do everything on the floor, it would be easier.
