Clutch Problems

My clutch over the course of the last few months has been catching further back than normally. Now I almost have to let it all the way up before it catches and in 4 wheel drive it is all the way out when it catches and i smell the clutch burning but only in 4 wheel. It doesnt slip at all even when driving in a high gear with the engine lagging. Is this a sign that my clutch is done or do i still have a while to go?

It sure sounds like its about done. As it wears it will engage later in the pedals release and I don't think there is any way to change it on the rangers hydraulic slave.
