Clutch questions.

I've got an 83 auto c3 and looking at buying a 89-91 ish ranger with a 5 speed. Clutch part numbers are different. Any particular reason or is there a specific clutch and flywheel combo I need to get? Any help appreciated

Welcome to the forum

Not quite understanding what you are asking????

You have a 1983 Ranger with an automatic transmission, doesn't have a clutch
You want a 1990 Ranger with a manual transmission, does have a clutch

Do you want to put a manual transmission in the 1983 Ranger?
If so 1983 engine model matters more than year
2.0l gas
2.3l gas
2.8l gas
2.2l diesel

Yes wanting to swap the 5 speed set up from the 90 to my 83. Both trucks have the 2.3 just curious if it would be less of a headache to just try and find an older 5 speed parts truck or get this newer one that I could have at any time
