Correcting My Speedometer

So I just put a set of 32x12.5" tires on my truck today. My speedo is way out! Is it hard to correct this or do I need to take my tranny apart to change a gear?? I have a 94 2.3 with a 5 speed.

1994 Rangers have an interchangeable gear at the speed sensor on the transmission that can be used to adjust for tire and axle ratio changes. You cannot fix it with a flash tuner because the PCM is not involved with the speed adjustment. That only works for 2001+.

just calculate it...
(new tire size)/(old tire size)=New Ratio
get that new ratio and multiply it by the speed.

ex. mine 33/27=1.22
1.22x60=73.2

i quite sure that works.
