yeah what gumby said! lol plus there is still movement in the front diff under acceleration.

Jeep driveshaft is way too long, needs to be 3" shorter at least... I couldnt even get it in there. :(

no 4wd for a few more weeks.

There's a shop near me that can make you anything you need d-shaft wise. They are really nice people & have awesome prices as well.

well i stopped by the driveshaft place and the best they can do for me is having 1" compressed travel and 3.5" extended, this leave about 2" in the end of the shaft.

problem is i dont have exact measurements... I'm going to try to get better ones tonight but idk...

he wants 167 for new Ujoint and the new slip yoke then a balance...

its going to suck ***** if i have to get limit straps because that is the best he can do....

he said he can only get more travel if he goes to a bigger shaft which means new double cardon joint and special Ujoints... costing well over 400 im sure.

So does anyone know of other people that have done this and the standard amount of travel? I'm pretty well lost on this...

If i knew the ratio of drop to driveshaft length that would be sweet, but i dont...

Zach I think the best way to do it would be to flex it.
