Hey Guys,

I'm looking to service the rear brakes on my 1998 Ranger Splash 2WD 2.5L and I noticed that some of the drums on Rock Auto are listed as 9" and some are listed as 9" x 1-3/4" like this:

Are these the same size with some manufacturers simply including more measurement specs or are these actually different sizes that I need to look out for?

Sorry if this is a really dumb question or if it has already been posted – just want to avoid ordering the wrong parts if possible.

Had to measure mine. 9" about. Remove one of the drums and measure inside diameter. Idk if there was a 10" model. Maybe if a model had bigger wheels?

Thanks for the replies. I know for sure that I have the 9" drums instead of the 10" drums since mine have the fins on the exterior.

My question was more so if there are multiple sizes of the 9" drum since RockAuto.com has some listed as 9" and some listed as 9" x 1-3/4" like this:

No, there is just one size drum(9" or 10") for any Ranger I have ever had or worked on, so if they fit a Ranger then they are the same size/depth
