Dual exhaust

What is the best sounding exhaust to put on a ranger with a 2.3. I’m going to galloways 4x4 center (new London, NC) today because I’m friends with the owner and he said i could get a exhaust on my truck for cheap. I’m going to do either dual exhaust from a y pipe out of the muffler to duals straight out the back or the same thing with dual 45 degrees out the back.what muffler is the best to make a little bit of noise but not sound like a ricer.

I've had good luck and compliments from my flowmaster delta 50 SI/DO muffler on my 3.0 just dumped out the side before the back tire

I cut my muffler off a few weeks ago. I think I’m going to leave it straight piped and do like you said dumbed before the back tire

You'll get tired of the in cab drone after a while and want to put a muffler back on.

Yup. A pal just restored his "muffling capabilities" stating, "I wish I had done this 3 years ago".

Plus, hearing loss is cumulative.

I ran mine cut off under the back seat for about 3 weeks and after week 2 I ordered my muffler and had it installed asap
