Explorer 8.8 disc axle swap

I have a 2002 edge with 35'' and found a 8.8 explorer axle with disc brakes with the gears already installed. I was wondering is this just a bolt in installation or am i going to have to change the master cyclinder or anything like that?

There is plenty of info on this if you search.

Expo axle = axle over and dual rear facing shocks. No need for a new master cylinder/booster but some prefer a proportioning valve to fine tune the feel of more efficient discs.

Like said, a quick search will provide an answer to any question you have.

^^ditto.

Flip the spring perches and weld on shock tabs. Deal with making the parking brake work, then your done.
