Front differential oil

need to add some oil to the front differential, have read that some came with synthetic. Can’t find anything that designates what type. 02 4x4 4.0 automatic.
Thanks in advance

Any 80w90 will be fine for the front. If you want to run synthetic Mobil one or amsoil 75w90 is great but if you change it regularly, and dont have a limited slip (which you don't in the front) ole fashion dino 80w90 is more than fine.

when you say add do you mean its low, (i.e. leaking?) Or are you changing the fluid?
