Front drive shaft cv joint assembly

I am trying to get my front drive shaft installed in the project truck. In the shuffle the bearing got out of place. Is there any tricks to reassembling the cv joint? What a PITA...*%+@#$@#

I guess i would start by cleaning up all the grease... i think it all has to go in at one time.

might be easier to find one at a junk yard tho

The kick in the *** is there is nothing wrong with it(except it needs reassembled) I would hate to buy one because I can't get it back together. I'll try it again tommorrow.

If you mess with it long enough you should get it. I worked on mine for about 2 days until it just fell into place.
