ooooo.....appears to be the correct part and appears to be the same part used in the superlift shafts.

BUT...that is the same part number as my part. had 4 holes instead of 6. redesign is my guess.

You just need to verify it is the 6 hole design

OHHH....

Figured i'd add up what my shaft cost me....

$ 150.00 (NOS new front shaft from explorer/ranger)
$ 91.20 (N2-83-288X adaptor)
$ 68.00 (shorten and balance of shaft)
-------------------------------------------------------
$ 309.20 Total using all new parts.

I know I can get shafts just like the one i got but used from the junkyard for $50...so that number would go significantly down should anyone do it with a junkyard shaft that might need joints.

IMO...it's worth it. My off road shop hook up wants $400 for the SL shaft...other places i've got quotes up to $525 for it. I built my shaft and it's pretty much exactly like the superlift shaft for at most 3/4 the cost.

stock vs. new shortened expo/ranger shaft w/ double cardon...

Beard...you might be onto something there....

i think i might need to order the 2x one up.....and verify it's got 6 holes.
