I have a 99 ranger XLT 4x4, the day after I bought it the front left wheel bearing hub broke in half, which in turn broke the axle retaining clip and washer, also broke the manual locking hub, I replaced the hub, but cannot find the retaining clip anywhere, so now my cv axle floats in and out of the hub, I tried using the old one but it won't hold,
now the new hub I just replaced less than 200 miles ago has a vibration when I hit a bump in the road, i have looked on several parts catalogs and cannot locate the snap ring or the washer, thanks for any advise.

It is a nylon or similar material washer with metal snap ring inside

Check with local Ford dealer, some have them listed at $14, on-line they are over $20
