Gears for 33's and 3.slow

Hey guys its about time for me to get some gears in the truck and I'm wondering what the best all around ration for daily driving would be because these 3:73's aren't cutting it. I have a 05 3.0 on 33x12.50's. My two options are 4:10's and 4:33's what do you guys think?

Never really bought about it. Im looking for something thats right down the middle as far as gas mileage goes i definitely don't want to go down in the gas mileage department.

But do they make a 4.33 for the front diff?

Depending on your planned usage I would run a 4.56 on your truck. I had a '93 Ranger with a 3.0 and 35's that had 5.13 gears and got around 14 mpg. However it really didn't like the highways.

Yea I got the 3.73 gears on 33's with the 3.0 too. I've been looking to go 4.10's but I guess I just got used to the loss of power that it doesn't bother me anymore.

Oh... Well in that case I guess you just need a set for the rear huh? But I still vote 4.56's

As long as were on this topic so i don't have to start a new thread. After this winter I'm gonna replace my 30x9.5r15 radials with 31x10.5r15 Bfg All-Terrains and replace my stock 15x7 wheels with crager soft 8 15x8 rims. will i be fine with my stock 3.73 gears?

I drove a 5spd 3.0 on 33s with 373 and it didnt seem too bad.

But I'm sure with the 5 speed it makes a big difference.

Idk about 33's, but there is someone on Fordrangerforum that runs 32's with 4.88's. He's out in colorado n' from his photos i think does alot of rock crawling. Plus he makes all his own bumpers and roll cages and a crazy flat bed/ exoskeleton so i know his rig weighs a couple extra hundred pounds. If i had a 3.0 i would run 4.88's with 33's but thats just me...ive got a lift for my 4.0 sitting in my garage at home that i plan to put 33's on, but i'm waiting to buy 4.56's to replace my 3.73's before i do anything.
