When moving truck from park to reverse after truck has been sitting for a little while it takes several seconds before it chunks into gear. I've seen several other posts describing a similar issue but I can't find where anyone has described what has fixed this problem. When truck is warm the issue gets better and goes away. I recently serviced tranny and put a qt of Lucas in it. Still does the same thing. Please help!

 

So I take it that either nobody has this issue or nobody has ever resolved it. 36 views and no replies. Guess ill just keep parking where I don't have to reverse.

 

from what i've learned its a common problem on these trucks. my 07' does it and my dads 10' does it aswell. just ignore it. u'll get used to it. haha
