How to clear code P0734?

How to clear code P0734?
I have a 2002 Ranger, 3.0L 2wd and am going to replace the transmission and wanted to know how to clear the P0734 code that is showing up now once I replace the transmission.

You will unhook the battery before doing any work, and that will clear the codes
