hub not disengaging

hub not disengaging

Well i pulled off my front tires to clean out somestuff, i spin the right front and the axle and everything moves like its still locked in. any ideas?

whats the specs on your truck? im assuming its a 98-00.5 or older. you could jus replace the hub.

also when i do use 4x4 it only works for about 30ft then just compleley disengages and dosnt work.

Sounds like a vacuum leak in the PVH system.

If itz a pulse vacuum problem then you maybe able to do the mod in the how too section to make your system a live axle.

the live axle is what the 2000- newer rangers have but you could buy those avm lock in lock out hubs for like i think 125 and from what ive heard they are nice.

I took apart the hub and its unlocked now but i'll be getting those manual hubs soon.
