ranger clutch not disengaging
new to the forum recently purchased a 03 ranger edge 5 speed 4.0 took it out in the snow couple weeks ago just the other day i started it up and had clutch down try to start it and moved while in first gear seems like the clutch is not disengaging all the way so i looked under and the transfer case cracked in half my question is will a cracked transfer case affect the clutch not disengaging also my clutch fluid reservoir is full any help would be appreciated

No, not related.
Clutch system has master(with reservoir) and slave cylinder, hose in between.
Then a pedal and push rod(with switch)
Engine--Flywheel-()-pressure plate--throwout bearing--slave
Pilot bearing--(clutch disc)--input shaft----------Transmission
Transfer case is not involve in any way.
However whatever caused the transfer case to crack obviously stressed the trans bell housing as well, did you check it for cracks?
Input shaft misalignment could cause clutch disc to be at an angle to flywheel so there wouldn't be full disengagement
