I just pulled the tranny out of my truck because i suspect the pilot bearing and throwout bearings have gone bad. I was right, but I want to make sure the input shaft bearing is good before i reintsall everything. How much play should there be in the input shaft? as it is now, mine can be moved around by hand a small amount.
