Just bought 1990 Ranger XLT... vibration whenever truck is accelerating or rolling...
Hey there,
My name is Tommy and I'm from the Upstate of South Carolina.
I just recently bought a 1990 Ranger XLT. Single cab, 4x2, 4.0L V6, auto tranny. Mechanically, it's running well except for a couple of things. For one, there's a vibration when being driven. The truck wants to pull to the right. I'm trying to determine what it is. Anyone got any suggestions?
Thanks in advance!

Jack up the front and spin the wheels, should notice an issue with one or both, that's the "pulling to the right" and could also cause the vibration
Also pull and push on the top edge of the tire, wobble is bad
Can be wheel bearing which are not hard to replace
Also look at the wear on the front tires, inner tread wear is ball joint, could be time for ball joints, but usually no "pulling" with these
If you feel the vibration more in the steering wheel then its a front end issue
If you feel it in the seat of your pants more then rear tire/wheel issue, could have lost a balance weight or a belt inside the tire has torn, tires only last 8 to 10 years, the "rubber" deteriorates
So tires can wear down by miles, or wear out by time, there is a Date Code on all tires(required by Law), look at what brand they are and then Google: "brand" Date code, this will show you where to look and what codes they used for what year the tire was made

Usually 4 digits, week and year
In the picture, the tire was made in the 10th week of the year 2016
So 3512 would be the 35th week of 2012
And just a heads up when you buy new tires, look at the date code FIRST, you don't want tires that have been sitting in a warehouse for 3 or 4 years, the clock starts when they are made not installed on a vehicle
