Light sequence for when you put it in 4wd

What lights are suppose to come on when you put your truck in 4wd high and then low.. i redid the T-case motor.. so now when i put the truck in High the light comes on and stays on.. meanwhile the switch clicks.. but when i put it in low it doesnt do anything.. High stays on and the switch doesnt click.. is low not workin or somethin?

Sounds like the t-case switch is out of "synch" with the rotation.

Basically, you have to get the transfer case to a certain position, get the switch into the appropriate position, then reassemble. I know there's some good articles out there in the Explorer community on this. If you google it a bit, you'll find them. Sorry, but I never bookmarked them.

I'm wondering about the switch. It seems it should be keyed to the flat so you can't get it wrong. Pay close attention to those pics and text, then take yours apart again and check it out. Could also be that your motor isn't running at all for some reason.
