I can't believe it only took you a month to break a cv axle. You knew it and I know it, the weak link is the cv axle. I know that will be the first thing to break on my. But it does sound like you were working it pretty hard the day b4. Which locker do you have? No-slip, or loc-right?

My truck has been in other parts of the pit(soft sand with some rocks, hill climbs etc), but it will never see the rock pit, if it wants to stay alive. BTW, most of the guys here with toys, that do off road, know their stuff. If they break something, it is because of fatigue and or failure, not because of their lack of skill and/or ability.

I know I'll eventually get some breakage and have to replace the OE axles, and I'll look into the Longfields/Newfields when I do. Thanks for the tip
