It generally has to be an axle that comes in a steering axle. EX: D60, D44. Those you would have to cut the end of the tube off and press then weld the inner C on at the correct caster, bolt up the knuckles/hub/brakes etc. Then you would have to run full hydraulic steering, but if you want to drive it on the road you would have to run a manual steering lock-out so incase a line blows or something your rear-end doesn't start floppin back and forth and cause a wreck.
