yea, its C02. it says on the tank in a few places and in the manual not to fill it with compressed air.
its at about 1,000 PSI full.
I aired up my 35s twice last weekend when we were out, my buddy aired up his 33s, i used the impact to take apart my axle and put it back together.. its probably half gone, I'll probably fill it after this saturday and hope it lasts for the next 3 weekends in a row

ARB air locker comes in 28 spline as well. i was quoted for one at $895 and $300 install, then about $250 for the compressor. i plan on installing one this summer. on board air would be awesome too for airing down then up tires.

I think everyone except Powertrax has stopped making stuff for the 28 spline axle.
Edit: ARB still makes it for the 28 spline.

ECTED, have one now, and I'm getting rid of it. Worked great, clutches wore down, now an open diff. Four year warranty on rebuild, runs about $150 to get that done. Problem is that the electricals in the unit were weak when they were first produced and succeptible to frying (which mine eventually did) and I had to fab up new connectors. Moving over to something that I don't have to worry about, no slip will go in in two weeks.
