Have you bleed the master before installing it?

is it disc or drum on the back? The disc brake setup requires a stronger master than the factory brake cylinder, if I am recalling properly
.

He is probably right. The same thing happened with my buddies older 85 F350. We had to bleed the system several times for long periods of time before it finally worked properly.

you can also try to bleed it with the engine running if you cant get the air out, but you must be certain that you properly bench bled the master before installing it, and im sure you know, but just for reference bleeding sequence on your truck is RR,LR,RF,LF

if you dont bleed the lines longest to shortest, the air will jump around like a cat...all nimbly-bimbly

well i figured out my break problem this morning and since im back at school i cant do anything about it till Friday.

well i put the calipers on the wrong sides so my bleeders are on the bottom not the top. I feel like a idiot because i have done brakes a ton of time. but o well i figured out the problem and i have a new master so i should have plenty of power to slow me down now
