Manual trans is slipping on hills
The 1986 Mazda B2000 was not a "Ranger", it was an import, 1994 and up B-series were same as Rangers
Not sure which engine it has or transmission but a 1986 manual transmission would use 80-90w gear oil, for sure, and about 4.5pints bone dry, so 2 quarts plus a little
But manual transmissions don't "slip", its impossible, clutches slip
