Manual trans is slipping on hills

Manual trans is slipping on hills

1986 maxda b2000 se5 transmission sewms to be slipping on hills. How much of what kind of fluid goes in this transmisaion

If this has a manual transmission, it's more likely your clutch is slipping and needs replaced.

Aight thank you / im still curious about the fluid type and the amount of fluid it takes

The 1986 Mazda B2000 was not a "Ranger", it was an import, 1994 and up B-series were same as Rangers

Not sure which engine it has or transmission but a 1986 manual transmission would use 80-90w gear oil, for sure, and about 4.5pints bone dry, so 2 quarts plus a little

But manual transmissions don't "slip", its impossible, clutches slip
