Well I hate to make another post so soon but yes. I am not to familiar with this problem but the clutch can still be pushed in, in the cab but it seems like it is losing pressure in the cylinders and isnt disengaging clutch. It just seems that you just lose the clutch from the inside of the truck when you drive it and it needs to be bled or something which I dont think that it does.

 

Mine did this every year. The fluid would disappear. I'd get a small puddle under my truck but it would leak so many fluids that I couldn't tell where exactly where it would come from.

 

But the strange thing is it isnt leaking, thats whats weird. my guess is that its the master cylinder.

nope they work pretty good usually my truck doesnt have many issues but it does have 180,000 on the body so its to be expected.

your truck is so young, you have a long ways to go but my motor and trans have only 9.5k on them. I have a long list of parts that I have replaced on it pretty much the entire vehicle.

 

Yeah I believe that! Is there some way to test to see if it is the master cylinder? I dont think its on My hand controls (Im disabled) in the truck, I think its the fact that the pedal loses and the hand controls weight makes the pedal get pushed down.

 

I would bet that its the slave cylinder. What you are describing sounds like that happened to me when my slave when out.

 

it was the master cylinder and im pretty sure i have it fixed now.

 

Hey at least you know wha your break problem is. My brake light ( ABS light )pops on and off randomly. I got my brother inlaw to check it out who is a mechanic, and he has can not figure it out for the life of him.

 

its prolly the vss vehicle speed sensor. but anyway its not for the breaks its for the clutch.
