I've found door sticker codes for rangers and their meanings, but I'm looking at buying a B4000 (2010) 4x4. Is it exactly the same as reading the sticker codes of a ranger?

Yes, mechanically they are the same as far as drive train so same codes on the Build Label(door sticker) for axle, trans, springs
Color/paint codes may or may not be the same never looked at that
