nope. Your case has the correct front output for that shaft...it'll literally bolt right up and be the correct length.

To clarify Shane. Only the 95 and 96 explorers had the correct length and the correct flanges. In 97 the explorers also went to the funky tulip style flange.

95 and 96 explorer shaft is the only one that won't need an adapter or shortened, it should bolt in no problem. If you get any of the shafts from a TTB explorer or ranger then it will be too long. All SLA rangers had the funky tulip flange and 97-01 SLA explorers also used the funky tulip flange.

The driveshaft that Shane posted a picture of is in my truck. Literally that exact one. I've got a 1354 Manual Shift from a 94 Explorer with an u joint style front output flange. The 95-96 Explorer shaft works wonderfully.
