Need help from all you Ranger wisemen here!!!!!!!!!!

my mechanic just called me,, and it wasnt pretty,,,
as he said the tranny didnt sound good as he was moving the drive shaft or whatever he said didnt feel good, and the fluid did have metal shavings,.

so now the question is, were and how much and what type of other models i can replace Tranny with,, and what am i looking at , how screwed am i or or what to do,,,,

after 400 dllrs in mechanic, 340 clutch , 1250 for tranny repair, 7 days out of wotk, cause no truck , its finally driving,, but i was surprise how little the tranny took in tranny fluid, 3 qrts and atf fluid, lol learn it after 3 trips to auto parts,.

well all is good, just need to save up money to upgrade stereo rims tires shocks,,etc!!!!!!!!

 

You'd have been better off renting a car for a week, than missing a week of work.
