Clutch master cylinder and slave questions
Back in the fall I ordered a new slave and clutch online and had a local shop install for me. All seemed fine however he said he had a difficult time keeping pressure. I could shift fine but once it got cold, shifting got harder. I was having to pump the clutch more to be able to shift.
Last week, I went to pump and the pedal got hard and didnt wanna press. I tried it again and still hard. I tried a third time and it went to the floor and seemed normal. When I went to leave I found the cluth wasn't fully engaging. I couldn't rev past 2000-2500 because it was slipping. I hobbled it to work and home and parked it.
Since Thursday I've talked to Justin (those who know him) and he said its possible the seal in the master cylinder either rolled or cut. I replaced it and saw when I pressed on the pedal the inside spring was not moving.
All weekend I bled the new one with 3 different people and bench bled it twice like in that video. It won't hold pressure. I'm frustrated and I dunno what to do.
I called the place I ordered the master from and he said "bring it back, I'll send it back as faulty and you can put that $50 towards one that is pre-bled."
I was wondering though before I pull it, should the bleeder screw wiggle? If the issue is inside the trans I'm gonna take it to a trans shop or the dealer and not just a mechanic. The guy who did the original work wouldn't warranty the parts cus I ordered them online and its been 10k kms and 5 months.

could be the new master the new clutches have some kind of back flow valve on the connections that the factory one did not have when i did my 5 speed swap my parts supplier strongly suggested get a matching master and slave to fix that issue. As for the bleeder screw i noticed that on mine when i put it in it does move front to back a little not sure if its supposed to or not the perfection clutch guys told me it wasn't an issue. But the hard pedal sounds like that back flow valve is not opening correctly they told me it was to keep the master from holding air when disconnected.

Update and I hope the brainiacs chime in.....
Brand new master cylinder that was pre bled. Installed and bled the slave. Started shifting fine yesterday. Truck sat for a day now it won't go into gear when its running and I can't push down on the clutch pedal. It only goes about halfway then feels blocked. However if I put it in first and raise the rear and start it, the wheels spin. I'm guessing my problem is in the trans. Whether its the throw out bearing, the slave (still only 10k kms old) or something else.
Fluid in the resevor is up and where it should be. Could there be an issue with the CPP sensor being out of location? It doesn't seem like that is the issue but I'm fishing at this point as I want my truck back and don't wanna bring it to the mechanic. *bangs head*
