problems with the tranny?

Has anyone had problems with the tranny after bigger tires were put on? Im kind of worried that the bigger tires will be harder on the tranny, so any input about personal experiences would be great. Thanks.

Auto or manual?

I would expect that yes, it would put more stress. How many miles you got and what size are you looking at?

I dont think that you could go large enough to worry about that really. Plus if you re-gear the rear end back to a near stock overall ratio that will all go away.

Its an auto with 3.73 gears. I want to go up to 32 inch tires. It has 60,000 miles.

I would say you would be fine. 32's are not that big. Its what I got, and i've seen a handful with the same set-up on here with no problems.

Your trans should be alright.. just don't try spinning your tires all over the place.. the only thing you MIGHT notice, is your trans getting a bit warmer.. but 32's aren't all that big, so you should be alright
