Hi all, years ago I had an 08 4L 4X4. I'm in the market to buy another used one an XLT as a second vehicle and to explore dirt roads and at times tow a light trailer. I'm considering a 2011 4X4 but I see the tow package comes on the 4L V6.
How reliable and dependable are these 4L V6's? I heard problems can develop with the timing chain guides which are plastic. Is this a common problem?

Is there a year and motor that I should look for?
