With transmission in Neutral and rear wheels off the ground, see if you can turn the drive shaft by hand, I would guess NOT
You will need to drop the drive shaft(4 bolts on the differential) and see if you can turn the pinion flange(part the drive shaft connected to), rear wheels still off the ground
Also with drive shaft still in the transmission, and trans still in Neutral, see if you can spin the drive shaft
Which even doesn't spin that's the problem, differential or transmission

Turning the wheels doesn't tell you anything, EXCEPT that the problem is not an e-brake issue
Wheels/axles are free to spin because you have an OPEN differential
Turn the pinion yoke, what drive shaft was connected to, turn it in both directions, one wheel should also turn when you do this, if you can't turn it then problem is in the differential
Turn drive shaft while its still attached to transmission(in neutral) if it doesn't turn then problem is in transmission
