SLAMMN INTO GEAR

Only happens on the highway. if i need to get on it hard it will go to 5500 then stay for a second then slam into gear. it shifts so hard it flipped over an arizona ice tea can the big one (made a huge mess) what would this be ?

I'm not trying to knock you man, but why are you on here asking these questions if your a ford certified tech? I'm just curious.

Sonic I dont do transmissions. Thats a specialty area. We have 2 techs and that's all they do.
