squeaking clutch
squeaking clutch
for the past 2 days or so my clutch has been making a really annoying squeaking noise whenever i engage/disengage it... could this be related to the cold or do i have a bigger problem on my hands... it still feels the same as it did when i got the whole clutch system (minus master cyl) replaced in march... any ideas??
dont feel bad, mines been squeeking to, especially on rainy days it get really bad. I think its cold related becasue it never had done it before, clutch feels the same so i ain't gonna worry cuz i still got 18k more miles of a warranty

Mine has started to squawk in the colder weather, too.
I have the same problem also. I sprayed WD40 all over the pedal and cable areas and nothing. I crawled under the truck and had my wife to depress the clutch pedal many times and I could "feel" the noise while I had a hold of the cable and it appears to be coming from inside the tranny where the cable enters the housing. This is where I can "feel" the noise the strongest. The engine was not running while doing this testing.
The clutch works fine however.
