So I have a 04 and have started my 4x4 conversion. My donor parts are coming from a 99 5 speed. So the trans and t-case are installed as of yesterday. Have to pick up the flange yoke off the donor today because they apparently changed them between a 04 and 99 on the t case from 3” center to center on the 04 and the 99 is 2.5 center to vent on the bolt holes.

I got to hooking ny sensors up and I have no where for my OSS to plug into. Upon further investigation from 99-2000 ford used only the rear abs signal on the rear diff and 01+ used both the abs sensor and the OSS. So what options do I have now? A 01+ trans that is semi local is very hard to find so that’s almost out of the equation. Has anyone ever used something like a signal converter from Dakota digital. The 100BT model? Could i possibly find a different year t case and use a sensor in the t case? I have been told I could change a very expensive Tailshaft housing and put my reluctor ring in the 4x4 trans and it should work then. Has anyone ever drilled a hole for something like this. Should have done more homework before I started this. On the bright side I am working on a relay scheme to make the factory 4x4 dash switch work with the electronic t case like factory with a few modifications on the dash switch.
