Tranny issues.

I am going to go out on a limb and make a guess but i will let everyone chime in to!

So about 15k miles ago I got my clutch replaced and my slave as well. Also got a new flywheel.

Here is my down fall, guy who did it was friend not mechanic, but supposedly the guy was great with mechanics and used to be one.

Truck on with the clutch not pressed I can hear my fly wheel spinning. Truck shifts very very poorly, like i almost have to grind third sometimes.

4th gear with the gas slammed it just makes a loud rattling/ chattering.

My guess is flywheel was not installed right and is no loose or rattling.

Anyone got any ideas? I think im a have to go pull a new tranny and clutch. Ugh..

Guy who changed my clutch didnt fill my tranny all the way.. which is my fault for not checking.. we drain it and it had less than a quart in it so its shot and i need a new one.

Sucks man. The easiest things can sometimes be overlooked. Make sure the tranny is from a 01 and up. Tranny code it: Mazda M50D-R1HD The "HD" is important!!!
