Transmission DTC

Recently only on extended freeway driving i get a flashing o/d light. i understand this is a transmission trouble code. How can i pull this code? im not having any luck getting it read at oreily's or autozone.

If i'm not mistaken, only the dealer and some mechanics can read transmission codes.

Go to AAMCO, they can read the tranny codes... Yes flashing over drive light is a tranny code.. I had them pull mine today.. REV limiter reached and improper ratio in 3rd gear....

Just curious, what did the problem wind up being, if any?

ill chime in here ..... got the o/d flashing took truck to shop and found out the torque converter is f.u.b.a.r ed 1200 to 1800 bucks to repair ><
