Hi, i have a 91 ranger with a standered transmission and some times the transmission clunks when u put it in 1rst 2nd and 3rd it will happen for awile then stop for a week or 2, does this mean the trannys guna go soon?

It also makes a weird sound in third and 5th all the time it sounds like a bearing is gone or something.

 

It is a 3.0L v6

 

does anyone no what it could be??
