Icon5 Transmission Replacement Questions

Hi everyone,

I have a 1993 Ford Ranger XLT 3.0 V6 4x2 Auto, and I am replacing the transmission. I wanted to know if there are any other items that I should consider replacing in the process to make her transition back to life a smooth one. Any ideas?

Rear main seal on the crankshaft, about $10.

Check drive line u-joints or just replace them if they look old.

Change fuel filter while you are under there, another $10 part that should be replaced every 5 years or so.

I didn't even think about the fuel filter. Good idea and thank you!
