Hello All!
I have questions about a transmission swap I am wanting to do. I have a 2006 Ranger King Cab 3.0 / Automatic that I am wanting to swap to a 5 speed Manual.
I also have a 2003 Ranger Single Cab Short Bed 3.0 / 5 speed manual for a donor. I realize I will probaby need a driveshaft from a long bed or king cab for this swap.
I know I'd have to swap the pedals, clutch master cyl, steering column, flywheel/clutch, trans....maybe crossmember.
would I have to swap any wiring harnesses or computer? And are these 2 trucks compatible for a plug & play swap? Did I miss anything that should be on the swap list?

So I guess there is no real experience doing this with these years trucks? I really would like to discuss this swap, if anybody knows anything about it.
