Truck is in the shop!!!

Went this morning.

Codes were:

P0460 (as normal)
P1000 (as normal)
P0731 (IIRC) incorrect first gear ratio
P0733 incorrect 3rd gear ratio
P0734 incorrect 4th gear ratio

I'm not sure if I'm right on the gear ratio p codes, but that is what the scanner said.

We came up to the conclusion that I could have broken the clutch pack in 1st gear or a sprag assembly. I won't know until they break it down.

I took it to the place I got it rebuilt at. I was wrong about the milage, it is 2700 miles...pretty bad.

They said I have the 12k miles 12 month warranty so I'm guessing everything is covered. They did not mention a thing about pricing yet. He said he was going to call me when he gets more information.

It wasn't going into 1st gear he said, it wa sjust going 2-3-4..no o/d either.

I think I blew the clutch pack and a selenoid. Tahts what it seems like.

so much for wishing this was electrical.

All the mud is off. It was more dirt than mud, but there was some nice mud. I have to get the night pics up...they are on the cam, but in the truck

Hopefully it gets fixed ASAP!!!

Got it back...

Runs good, but I am thinking about taking the spool out, I'll wait another day or two though.

I'm just happy to have her back!

And best of all, it was under warranty

i would leave the spool in. way better that open and that might not of caused your tranny problems

He said it "shouldn't" have caused any problems in the tranny.

He said it could have either been a defective part or something.

He reccomended to take the spool out if I daily drive it (which I do), but he said it shouldn't hurt anything. He said for towing it will not be too great though...but then again, open diff isn't too great!! (I will probably be towing the beater truck...)
